More useful detail

Care over time

Rhythm through the year

It dries faster in warmth and bright light. In winter, avoid soaking it before a cold night.

Growth and repotting

It may produce offsets after flowering. Keep them attached until they reach a substantial size.

Plant

A simple care routine for Air plant

  1. 1

Check light and moisture before taking action.

  2. 2

After watering, turn it over and let it dry fully in moving air.

  3. 3

Track changes in new growth instead of judging only old damage.

Observation

Changes worth checking

  • A soft dark base
  • Strong curling and brittle leaves
  • Water trapped in the rosette
Important

Watering frequency changes with light, temperature, pot size and potting mix. Use any interval as a reminder to check the plant, not as an automatic watering day.
